Vagrantの仮想環境でrails serverで動いているアプリケーションにMacのブラウザからアクセスしてみる

Vagrant + VirtualBoxでRails開発環境を作っています。

今回は、仮想環境内のrails serverで動いているRailsアプリケーションに、Mac側のブラウザからアクセスしてみます。
ちなみに仮想環境のserviceのiptablesはstopさせてません。

今回の流れ
ralis serverは3000のポート使ってるので…
1. Vagrantfileに、仮想環境の3000番ポートをMac側の3000番ポートに転送するように追記
2. 仮想環境側で、iptablesを3000番ポートを空けるように追記

ではやってみましょう。

1.Vagrantfileの書き換え

Vagrantfileに、仮想環境の3000番ポートをMac側の3000ポートに転送するように以下のように書き換えます。(部分抜粋だと曖昧なので全ソース載せます)

これで仮想環境の3000番ポートがMac側の3000番ポートに転送されるようになりました。

2.仮想環境で3000番ポートを空ける

vagrant sshコマンドで仮想環境に入り、以下のコマンドからiptablesを編集します。

$ sudo vi /etc/sysconfig/iptables

内容は以下の通りに。

:FORWARD ACCEPT [0:0]
:OUTPUT ACCEPT [0:0]
-A INPUT -m state --state ESTABLISHED,RELATED -j ACCEPT
-A INPUT -p icmp -j ACCEPT
-A INPUT -i lo -j ACCEPT
-A INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 22 -j ACCEPT
-A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 3000 -j ACCEPT
-A INPUT -j REJECT --reject-with icmp-host-prohibited
-A FORWARD -j REJECT --reject-with icmp-host-prohibited
COMMIT

これでiptablesを再起動すれば、仮想環境の3000番ポートが空くはず。

再起動、表示確認

仮想環境のiptablesも、Mac側のVagrantfileも編集したので、
Mac側からvagrant halt , vagrant upして仮想環境を再起動する。
(なぜか vagrant reload ではうまくいかず。reloadはVagrantfileの読み直しだけなの
かも。)

vagrant ssh して仮想環境に入り、railsアプリのディレクトリで rails s してrails
serverを起動。

Macのブラウザから http://localhost:3000 でアクセス

vagrant_rails

ブラウザから確認できました!
これで「MacにVagrant + VirtualBox + CentOSにRails開発環境を作り、Macから確認をする」までが完成しました。

ちなみに、CentOSに入れたRubyのバージョンは以下のとおり
  • ruby 2.0.0-p353
  • gem 4.0,2
  • rails-4.0.2

その他メモ:rails server時にエラーが出るとき

rails server時にエラー
Could not find a JavaScript runtime.
 が出るときは…

yum で node.jsインストール
$ sudo rpm -ivh http://ftp.riken.jp/Linux/fedora/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm
$ yum install nodejs npm --enablerepo=epel

これで rails server が動く、はずです。
